Secondary classes consist of two 2-hour sessions per week for the duration of the 12 week term. During the 12 week term, students will complete half of the book and at the end of each module there will be a test to ensure full understanding; a final test will be completed after all modules in order to move to the second half of the book.
There is a lot of content in the Challenges books, however two 2-hour lessons are ample for each student to fully understand the course content.
